Notifications

Upswello's notification system keeps you informed about important events and actions in your shop. Notifications appear in the Notifications page and help you track action items, system events, and status changes. This guide explains how they work and how to manage them.

Overview

Notifications appear in the Notifications page and help you track:

  • Action items requiring your attention
  • System events and updates
  • Important status changes

Notification Status

Notifications can have the following statuses:

  • Unread - New notification, not yet viewed
  • Open - Notification viewed but not completed
  • Completed - Action taken or notification resolved
  • System Completed - Automatically resolved by the system

Filtering Notifications

Use the tabs on the Notifications page to filter:

  • Open - Shows unread and open notifications
  • Completed - Shows completed and system-completed notifications

Expiration

Some notifications have an expiration date. Notifications without an expiration date (null, empty, or invalid dates) never expire.

Actions

Many notifications include action buttons:

  • View - Navigate to the relevant page
  • Complete - Mark the notification as completed

Best Practices

  • Review notifications regularly
  • Complete action items promptly
  • Use filters to focus on what needs attention
